Shana's adventures start when she picks up a call from Rebecca. They are going out for dinner! So everyone heads for the Railway Mall and eat dinner at Ramen Ramen, where Shana is incredibly excited. She receives her first birthday present of 2007!!!!!!!!!!!!

It's an awfully cute something for her to know and for you to find out. :)

After this Shana cannot sit still. She jumps up and down while eating her Ramen Ramen Ramen (yes this really is the name) and softshell crab. She starts counting down to her birthday! Much to the annoyance of her incredibly amazing, patient cousin. (Who does little more than roll her eyes, which in my opinion is very very astonishing).

Shana stop trying to interrupt and curb free speech!

Then everyone proceeds to Sweet Salty Spice which is a lovely Thai restaurant. However her little sister and little cousin proceed to make complete and utter embarrassments of themselves. How mortifying, right? Then the delicious Royce' chocolate like cake topples off onto the table. However Shana is absolutely oblivious because she is sms-ing. PUBLIC SERVICE MESSAGE: Parents please give your kids handphones only when they are 40.

See she's still sms-ing when she should be entertaining the guests at her house. Like serve them Champagne Brut.

After polishing off a carrot, double chocolate, chocolate peanut butter cake and sesame ice cream, Shana's eyes drag her over to an alluring fuschia - sorry, national treasure. Just like me :) Top secret. Suffice to say with much effort on her awesome Aunt's and cousin's part her bag stash welcomes a new member. She also mulls over the possibility of prank calling people. (FAIL.)

In the car on the way back Shana is squashed and almost deafened. But sorry hun no one cares unless you're 15. Oh wait, you aren't! No wonder. Janie and Rachel imitate little sirens. And Rachel sings about being very safe.

...In Chinese. The imminent start of a new school year brings many surprises.

So this leads up to the culmination of events at Shana's house. Which looks like a paper recycling company right now. I see at least 5 Seventeen magazines strewn across the "study" table.

Shana tries to pressure me into ending this. But I must report on the true facts of life just for you :) She says she's going to hyperventilate but I suspect she is fibbing.

Well this is all the time we have now cause the cool kids need their beauty sleep. Poor thing how she almost dies after savouring 10 hours of 15-year-old-ness. And womanhood, of course, because you only become a woman when you turn 15 and everyone knows that.
